Semper Fi Act
To rescind funds appropriated by the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2008, for the City of Berkeley, California, and any entities located in such city, and to provide that such funds shall be transferred to the Operation and Maintenance, Marine Corps account of the Department of Defense for the purposes of recruiting.

I don't care if this was done out of principle by the City of Berkeley or not. All it shows me is they do not need any federal funds if they aren't working on substantial issues for their constituants. Bottom line is Berkeley's city council needs to be brought up on charges of treason or made to complete Marine boot camp so they could find their patriotism and a respect for the Marine Corps.
