Apparently this bill "is designed to preserve and protect parental rights from future erosion."
I haven't seen the text yet but I hope that it identifies the threat to parental rights and isn't just pandering.
I'd like elaboration. If it means a parent won't go to jail for disciplining their child (NOT ABUSE) as the Bible tells us to, then yes!
Yes it needs to be detailed, this is the response to HR3038, it needs to be rejected! so they introduce this bill to pacify us and take our guards down, stay focused on rejecting hr3038!
they are legalizing CPS to steal and adopt out children without cause, paying people to do so, so they get more federal funding per each child
This sounds insane but please research it, it is awful to know the facts of thousands children dispalaced and mentally abused by a system created to help victimized children, but the money incentives are so great people have lost their minds.
I'm trying to figure out just how this would be implemented, what the effects on the Child Welfare system would be etc. But really, what I see is a really wishy-washy piece of legislation that would make a better resolution than amendment to the constitution. As it is it could be interpreted to mean that there should be no interference in a parent's choice in the upbringing of a child, regardless of the wellbeing of the child. The wording here is just too vague to go into an amendment in my mind, regardless of intent.
CPS is the monster behind the hr 3038 which needs to be rejected, this is supposed to support thousands of kids who have been stolen from their parents with no proof of abuse and entitle parents grounds to get their children back . they keep introducing vague bills to pacify us instead of abolsihing any and all bills entitling CPS to come with cops and steal our children with only anonomous accusations and no physical evidence.
I can not support an amendment to the constitution on such sparse text. This is vanity legislation, and a waste of congressional time.
please research hr 3038, it needs to be rejected imediately!! and this bill suposed to ensure us that they can not remove kids for no real reason other than hr 3038 incentives of large funding for stealing children and adopting them out with cash bonuses to adopties
