I think this bill is a step in the right direction. I think it will provide relief for overworked troops currently in Iraq. However, I disagree with this exception to the use of funds, "Conducting targeted operations, limited in duration and scope, against members of al Qaeda and affiliated international terrorist organizations." This seems to make funding endless.

I think this bill is a good idea as long as it is not a prerequisite to military enforcement.

The time has come for the United States to focus in its own citizens. The government should not put the welfare of global citizens before its own. The gap between the rich and the poor continues to grow, and an increasing number of families are without healthcare. The United States cannot expect to remain economically strong while constantly playing "mother" to the world. Also I feel that the United States has violated the liberties of other nations in the name of welfare.
